2 and 3 Wire Transmitters

TR series vibration transmitter uses advanced LSI technology that integrate the signal conditioning, processing and outputting circuitry into one integral unit. It can directly replace the probe driver and connect to the proximity probe and extension cable, converting the signal to a 4-20 mA output. Buffered dynamic output is available for additional analysis.

TR Series Transmitter is used to monitor:

  • Radial Shaft Vibration
  • Axial Thrust Position
  • Rotation Speed
  • Phase Reference

The TR is available as a two wire or three-wire transmitter configuration and certified for use in hazardous areas.

The TR series also has an option available to interface with existing proximity probe drivers. This option is typically used when it is desirable to drive the dynamic signal and the 420mA output up to 300 meters or for some hazardous area applications.


Accelerometers and Velocity Sensors

General Purpose Accelerometer: Industrial Piezoelectric, 100mV/g, Acceleration Range: 50g, with mounting stud 1/4-28″ to 1/4-28″ or with mounting stud 1/4-28″ to M6x1.
General Purpose Accelerometer with Integral Cable: Industrial Piezoelectric, 100mV/g, Acceleration Range: 50g, with mounting stud 1/4-28″ to 1/4-28″ or with mounting stud 1/4-28″ to M6x1.
Piezoelectric Velocity Transducer: Velocity sensor, 4.0mV/mm/sec (100mV/in/sec), with mounting screw 1/4-28″ to M6x1 or 1/4-28″ to 1/4-28″.
Low Frequency Velocity/Displacement Sensor: Specially designed to measure low frequency vibration (frequency down to 30 rpm’s in velocity or displacement), 40 mV/mm/s or 3.94mV/um.
Case Expansion Transducer: LVDTs (linear variable differential transformers) are used to measure the case expansion.

Condition Monitoring

PVTVM’s PCM360 is a machine condition management system that collects, stores, analyzes and is capable of transmitting machine status monitoring information over local or wide area network. The PCM360 provides static, dynamic and transient data collection and analysis; such as graphical indication of vibration level, trend, waveform, spectrum, bode plots, cascade plots and much more.

All PVTVM’s monitors and transmitters can quickly and easily be integrated to upload machine status and its dynamic data to the PCM360. The PCM360 obtains both critical machinery running status and balance of plant running status. Additionally, the PCM360 collects process data as 4-20mA input or digital monitor input via Modbus, etc. The PCM360 provides an integrated system solution for asset management resulting in a total solution for machine maintenance and protection.


Digital Electronic Vibration Switch

The PT580 Digital Vibration Switch is designed to be the “one stop shop”? for all vibration switch applications. The PT580’s unique and rugged design is programmable, suitable for harsh environments and or hazardous areas. It has a universal mounting feature, wide operating temperature range, relays, 4-20mA output, Modbus communication, and works with internal sensor or a remote sensor.

DM200 Dual Channel Seismic Vibration Monitor

DTM Distributed Transmitter Monitors

DTM Series digital transmitter-monitor are PVTVM’s newly released transmitter-monitor series. They are based on the popular TM Series transmitter-monitor. DTM modules are highly reliable, fully programmable, and easily configurable.

Each DTM module is a single-channel or dual-channel monitor. Each DTM module can be used independently for machine protection. It has all the function and IO port of a multi-channel monitor, such as:

DTM series also have their own unique features. Some DTM integrate driver and monitor into one unit. All the DTM modules have digital internal bus and external Modbus.

For plant expansion, customer only need a little modification, add some new modules, and the system will be ready for the new machines.

High Temperature Seismic Vibration Sensors

Low Frequency Seismic Vibration Transmitter

Our Low Frequency Transmitter is the ideal solution for sensing low frequency vibration on most low RPM plant equipment. This precision case mounted vibration sensor and signal conditioner in a single package is built to provide years of reliable service. A simple two-wire loop signal proportional to velocity or displacement is generated for transfer to a programmable logic controller (PLC), distributed control system (DCS) or other 4-20 mA input devices. Simply mount the transmitter on the machine case, connect the 2-wire loop and read and/or record the vibration. The Low Frequency Transmitter is made with technology which eliminates wiring polarity errors.

Mechanical Vibration Switch
